UPDATE: Pittsburgh Police arrested Aaron Roth, 36, of Pittsburgh in connection with this incident. He faces multiple charges and will be transported to the Allegheny County Jail.

Just after 11:30 a.m., Pittsburgh Police responded to the First National Bank located in the 4700 block of Liberty Avenue for a reported bank robbery.
Employees told responding officers that a male wearing a suit jacket passed a note to the teller demanding cash and threatened that he had a gun. The suspect then fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Zone 5 patrol officers and a Computer Crimes detective apprehended him a short distance away wearing the same clothes as during the robbery. He was also in possession of the stolen money. He was taken into custody and transported to police headquarters for questioning.
The Crime Scene Unit processed the scene. Robbery Unit detectives handled the investigation with assistance from FBI Pittsburgh.
