UPDATE: Violent Crime Unit detectives arrested Anthony Taulton, 16, (ACT 33) in connection with this incident.
Original incident details:
At approximately 8:30 a.m., Pittsburgh Police, Fire, and EMS were called to Carrick High School for an altercation which resulted in three students sustaining stab wounds.
Arriving units located three male victims in a hallway inside the school. One male was transported to the hospital in critical condition, one in stable condition, and a third male, who received a minor laceration, was not taken to the hospital.
Additionally, a male who was detained for questioning also received a laceration to his hand during the incident. He was cleared by Pittsburgh EMS at the scene before being transported to Pittsburgh Police headquarters.
All four individuals involved in this incident are between the ages of 15 and 18. There is no ongoing threat at the school.
The scene was processed by Mobile Crime Unit detectives.
