UPDATE: At approximately 10:08 p.m. the adult male was taken into custody without incident. No injuries were reported. The roadways will be open shortly.

Pittsburgh Bureau of Police and the SWAT team are currently on scene for a male barricaded inside a residence with multiple warrants in the 100 block of Southern Avenue.
Southern Avenue from Cowan Street to Sandwich Way is currently closed, as well as Gray Street leading up to Southern Avenue.
Please avoid the area at this time. Updates will be provided when possible.
