At approximately 1:45 p.m., Pittsburgh Police from Zone 2 responded to the intersection of Smallman Street and 13th Street for reports of a bicyclist versus vehicle collision.

Preliminary information indicates the driver was attempting to make a turn when the vehicle collided with the adult male bicyclist. This incident occurred just outside the perimeter of the OpenStreetsPGH event in the area. The adult male sustained minor injuries, including shoulder pain. The driver remained on scene and cooperated with officers.

Pittsburgh EMS transported the adult male to a local hospital in stable condition.

Zone 2 officers are reviewing CCTV footage to determine what led up to the incident, but it does not appear to be intentional at this time.
