Police Make Arrest in Hill District Fatal Stabbing

UPDATE: SVU detectives arrested Robert Lee Tillman, 50, of Pittsburgh in connection with this incident.

Tillman is charged with Criminal Homicide and is currently being housed at the Allegheny County Jail.

Just before 6 p.m., Pittsburgh Police from Zone 2 were dispatched to the 2700 block of Webster Ave. for reports of an altercation between two males that resulted in a stabbing.

Responding units located an unresponsive male on the ground suffering from a stab wound to the torso. Medics pronounced him deceased at the scene.

Violent Crime Unit detectives detained one male who was transported to the hospital for evaluation before being taken to headquarters for questioning.

Mobile Crime Unit detectives processed evidence at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
