Police Investigate Shots Fired Incident in Hazelwood

At approximately 1:15 p.m., Pittsburgh Police were dispatched to the intersection of Johnstown Avenue and Second Avenue for three ShotSpotter alerts totaling 23 rounds.

Arriving officers identified one residence that was stuck by bullets, through a bedroom wall. Two adults were home at the time but no injuries were reported.

Additionally, one vehicle was damaged.

The Mobile Crime Unit responded to the scene and processed the evidence.

An investigation is ongoing.
