At approximately 7:30 p.m., Pittsburgh Police from Zone 1, the Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire, and the Pittsburgh Bureau of EMS responded to Route 28 near the Chestnut Street exit following reports of a male walking in the roadway who may have fallen.
Upon arrival, firefighters and paramedics located an adult male with significant trauma to the body. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Collision Investigation Unit responded to the scene.
An investigation is ongoing.
