Just before 3:30 p.m., Pittsburgh Police from Zone 4 were dispatched to a single-vehicle accident in the 6300 block of Beacon Street in Squirrel Hill.
Upon arrival, officers located an adult female in the vehicle, in critical but stable condition. The victim was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
Pittsburgh EMS administered blood in the field, then transported the victim to the hospital.
The investigation has been taken over by the Collision Investigation Unit.
