At approximately 10:30 a.m., Pittsburgh Police Zone 5 officers and EMS responded to the 5800 block of Bryant Street for reports that an individual fell off a roof.
Preliminary information indicates a juvenile male fell approximately 3 stories while doing roofing work at a construction site. Pittsburgh EMS transported him to a local hospital in grave condition with a serious head injury.
VCU detectives are on scene, which is typical for this type of incident.
