Police Arrest Three in East Allegheny Robbery and Shooting Incident

UPDATE: Police have arrested William Roberson, Duwayne Carey, and Raymond Paul Conti in connection with this incident.

Each faces multiple charges including Criminal Attempt Homicide, Aggravated Assault, Robbery, Burglary, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, and Conspiracy.

Just after 12:20 a.m. Zone 1 officers were dispatched to 601 Pressley St. for a reports of a robbery and aggravated assault.

Responding units located an adult male with a gunshot wound to the chest inside a fourth floor apartment. Medic 10 transported the victim to the hospital in stable condition.

The victim told police two men dressed in all black knocked on the door and demanded the contents of his backpack and cash from his wife after he had returned from the store. The one suspect then shot him.

Police detained one male for questioning. The Mobile Crime Unit processed the scene for evidence.

Violent Crime Unit detectives are are investigating.
