At approximately 9:45 p.m., Pittsburgh Bureau of Police Zone 5 was dispatched to the 200 block of Larimer Avenue for a reported shooting victim.
Upon arrival, officers entered the home and found no one. The adult male victim, who was suffering from a single gunshot wound to the neck, was transported by private means to a local hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
The Mobile Crime Unit responded to process the scene and recovered a shell casing on the front porch.
Violent Crime Unit detectives are leading an active and ongoing investigation.
