Pittsburgh Police Respond to Crash Involving Suspect with Warrants

Just before 7:45 p.m., Pittsburgh Police identified a vehicle belonging to a male suspect with felony warrants for robbery and domestic violence. The driver fled from officers and subsequently crashed into a business at the intersection of E. Carson St. and Becks Run Rd.
Following the collision, the suspect fled the vehicle on foot toward the river. A female passenger in the vehicle was unharmed and was evaluated by Pittsburgh EMS at the scene.
Multiple police units, a K9 officer, River Rescue, and Pittsburgh Fire responded to search for the suspect, but they were unable to locate him.
The investigation is ongoing.
