At approximately 2:15 a.m., the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police Zone 5 officers responded to the 7000 block of Idlewild Street for two ShotSpotter alerts totaling 25 rounds.
Upon arrival, officers located an adult female victim suffering from a single graze wound to the leg at the intersection of N Lang Avenue and Forrest Way. Preliminary information indicates a fight broke out prior to the incident.
Multiple parked vehicles in the area were damaged after being struck by rounds. The search for the suspect is ongoing.
Pittsburgh Bureau of EMS transported the victim to a local hospital in stable condition. Additionally, a second adult female was transported to the hospital for a dislocated knee.
The mobile crime unit responded to process the scene. Officers are reviewing all CCTV footage from the area.
