Pittsburgh Police Investigate Stabbing in Carrick Overnight

At approximately 2:10 a.m., Pittsburgh Police from zone 3 were dispatched to the 2300 block of Brownsville Road for reports of a stabbing.

Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from a single stab wound to the neck. The victim reported that he was involved in a verbal altercation with an unknown male inside a bar, which escalated into a physical confrontation. The dispute continued outside, where the actor produced a knife and stabbed the victim.

Pittsburgh EMS transported the adult male victim to the hospital in stable condition.

Mobile Crime Unit detectives are processing the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
