Just before 4:00 a.m., Pittsburgh Bureau of Police from Zone 5 were dispatched to the 1200 block of Nolan Court in the Homewood North neighborhood for reports of shots fired following a ShotSpotter alert totaling 18-rounds.
Upon arrival, officers located an adult male with a minor laceration to the ear. Preliminary information indicates that two adult males were outside when one entered a nearby residence. The second male then produced a firearm and fired multiple rounds into the home before fleeing the area in a vehicle.
Pittsburgh Bureau of EMS paramedics responded to the scene but the victim declined medical transport.
The Mobile Crime Unit responded to process the scene.
An investigation is ongoing.
