Pittsburgh Police Investigate Hit-and-Run Collision Involving Cyclist

At approximately 10:30 p.m., Pittsburgh Police from Zone 5 responded to a collision involving two vehicles and a cyclist at the intersection of Frankstown Avenue and North Lang Avenue.

According to CCTV footage reviewed by officers, an adult male bicyclist was struck by two vehicles driving side-by-side on the roadway while traveling at a high rate of speed. Both vehicles fled the scene without stopping.

Pittsburgh EMS medics initiated CPR on the victim before transporting him to a local hospital in critical condition.

The Collision Investigation Unit processed the scene.

The investigation remains ongoing.
