Just before 1:00 p.m., Pittsburgh EMS, Fire, and Police responded to the 100 block of Cinema Drive for a reported chemical gas exposure at a restaurant.

Employees informed first responders that two cleaning chemicals had been mixed together, creating a possible chlorine gas. All individuals inside the premises were safely evacuated.

Pittsburgh EMS evaluated fifteen individuals on scene, with no reported injuries. One adult male, who had mixed the chemicals and experienced the primary exposure, was transported to the hospital with minor symptoms. He is currently in stable condition.

Pittsburgh Fire safely disposed of the chemicals and ventilated the building.
