Home Invasion Investigation Leads to Gun and Drugs Discovery

Pittsburgh Police officers from Zone 6 were dispatched to a reported home invasion with shots fired in the 2000 block of Woodward Avenue just before midnight on April 16.Upon arrival, officers spoke with the residents, noted multiple bullet holes in several different walls, and recovered spent shell casings.
During a protective sweep of the second floor of the residence for any potential victims, officers observed multiple firearms and ammunition in plain view, as well as several packages of suspected narcotics.
Police applied for and obtained a search warrant for the house, subsequently recovering five firearms, ammunition, large quantities of packaged narcotics, and dozens of unopened vapes.
Jacquan West, 30, of Pittsburgh was arrested and transported to the Allegheny County Jail. He faces multiple drug-related charges, including possession with intent to deliver.
