The 19-year-old male rider was transported to the hospital in critical condition, where he succumbed to his injuries a short time later.
The early investigation by the Collision Investigation Unit indicates the rider was traveling at a high rate of speed when he failed to negotiate the curve at the end of the tunnel and was dislodged from his motorcycle.
