UPDATE: Luke Miller, 36, of Pittsburgh has been arrested in relation to this incident. He faces numerous felony and misdemeanor charges, including burglary, criminal trespass, and theft by unlawful taking. He remains in the Allegheny County Jail.

At approximately 12:15 a.m., Pittsburgh Police from Zone 4 were dispatched to the 900 block of Greenfield Avenue for reports of a burglary in progress.
Arriving officers were met by two adult females who stated they were in the residence—both on the second floor—when they heard a loud noise at the downstairs front door. Upon exiting their rooms, they found an adult male actor on the stairwell landing. After confronting him, he ran out of the home and fled on foot towards Murray Avenue.
The victims reported a set of vehicle keys were stolen. And the front doorway of the residence sustained damage when the actor broke in.
The Mobile Crime Unit responded to process all evidence and detectives are investigating. The investigation is ongoing.
