UPDATE: Larry Jerome Jones, Jr., 26, of Pittsburgh has been arrested in relation to this incident. He is charged with two felony counts of aggravated assault, as well as other felony and misdemeanor charges. He was transported to the Allegheny County Jail.

Just before 10:30 p.m., Pittsburgh Police from Zone 1, Pittsburgh Fire, and Pittsburgh EMS were dispatched to the 3300 block of Fleming Avenue in the city’s Brighton Heights neighborhood for reports of a male shooting victim.
Arriving officers located the male in the street, near the intersection of Antrim Street, with multiple gunshot wounds and immediately began to render aid. The victim was conscious, alert, and speaking with officers and medics. He was transported by Pittsburgh EMS in serious condition to an area hospital. He has since been upgraded to stable condition.
Two individuals were transported to Police Headquarters for questioning. There are no arrests at this time.
The Mobile Crime Scene responded to process evidence at the scene.
Violent Crime Unit detectives are leading the investigation. The investigation is ongoing.
