At approximately 4:00 p.m., Pittsburgh Police from Zone 3 were dispatched to the 2000 block of Wharton Street in the South Side Flats for reports of a stabbing.
Arriving officers located an adult male in the Giant Eagle parking lot with a stab/puncture wound just above his knee. He was conscious, alert, and speaking with officers and medics before being transported in stable condition by Pittsburgh EMS to an area hospital.
Police were informed an altercation took place prior to the stabbing. An adult male actor was arrested at the scene. Charges are forthcoming.
