At approximately 2:15 a.m., Pittsburgh Police from Zone 2 were dispatched to the 2000 block of Centre Avenue in the city’s Middle Hill neighborhood for reports of a shooting.

Arriving officers located an adult male in the lobby of the apartment building with two gunshot wounds—one to his chest/torso and one to his arm. Officers immediately began to render aid to the victim, including applying a chest seal and tourniquet.

He was transported by Pittsburgh EMS in stable condition to an area hospital.

The male had been involved in an argument in an upper-floor apartment unit prior to the shooting. A crime scene was located there that was later processed for evidence by the Mobile Crime Unit.

Two individuals were taken to Pittsburgh Police Headquarters for questioning.

There are no arrests at this time.

Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating.
