At approximately 2:25 a.m., Pittsburgh Police from Zone 6 were dispatched to the 900 block of Brookline Boulevard for reports of a burglary alarm at a smoke shop.
Officers arriving at the scene found the front doors of the business smashed by a vehicle that had been repeatedly driven into the doors.
The two occupants of the vehicle were seen in business camera footage exiting the vehicle and then proceeding to steal an undisclosed amount of cash from the register, as well as merchandise from the store before fleeing the scene.
The camera footage appears to show that both of the actors are male. And both were fully dressed in black clothing.
The vehicle used in the incident was reported stolen out of Dormont.
The Mobile Crime Unit responded to process all evidence at the scene. Detectives from Zone 6 are investigating.
