At approximately 12:00 a.m., Pittsburgh Police from Zone 3 were dispatched to the unit block of Carrick Avenue for reports of a domestic altercation with a stabbing.
Arriving officers located an adult male with a stab wound to his torso. He was transported in stable condition by Pittsburgh EMS to an area hospital.
Officers were informed the stabbing took place after a domestic altercation between the male and a female in the residence. The male is reported to have been the aggressor.
The female victim was also transported by Pittsburgh EMS in stable condition with injuries to her face.
Charges are expected for the male after he is medically cleared from the hospital.
