Just after 6:00 p.m., Pittsburgh Police from Zone 3 were called to the 100 block of Bausman Street in Knoxville for reports of a domestic disturbance involving an assault.
When officers arrived at the residence, they were met by two adult females who stated they were assaulted during a dispute by a known adult female. They also told officers that the female actor had a firearm in her possession.
All residents of that home and other nearby houses were safely evacuated.
The female actor then barricaded herself on the second floor of the house. SWAT operators were called out and attempted to make contact with the female through multiple hails, but were unsuccessful.
Ultimately, she was apprehended and taken into custody without further incident at 10:19 p.m.
Charges are forthcoming.
