UPDATE: Pittsburgh Police VCU detectives arrested Ray Rivera, 58, of Pittsburgh in connection with this incident. Rivera is charged with Criminal Attempt Homicide, Aggravated Assault, Carrying a Firearm Without a License, Persons Not to Possess, and Tampering with Physical Evidence.
He was tranported to the Allegheny County Jail.

Just before 4:15 p.m. on July 16, Pittsburgh Police, Fire, and EMS were dispatched to Smithfield St. between Fourth Ave. and Forbes Ave. for reports of a male shot.
Responding units located the victim near his vehicle on Smithfield with two gunshot wounds to his arm. Medics transported him to the hospital in stable condition.
The initial investigation reveals the incident may have stemmed from aggressive driving and apparent road rage that began on the South Side and moved into Downtown.
A silver Dodge Charger is a vehicle of interest in this case.
Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating.
There are no arrests at this time and police are asking anyone with information to call (412) 323-7800.
