UPDATE: Police, Fire, and EMS Dispatched to Shooting in Homewood South

UPDATE: Police arrested Christian Nichole Wells and Kevin Doubt-Young in connection to this incident. Each faces multiple charges including Criminal Attempt Homicide, Aggravated Assault, Robbery, Conspiracy, Receiving Stolen Property, Carrying a Firearm Without a License, and Persons Not to Possess.

Wells and Doubt-Young were transported to the Allegheny County Jail.

Pittsburgh Police, Fire, and EMS were dispatched to the 7000 block of Kelly Street in Homewood South at approximately 7:45 a.m. for a reported shooting.

Arriving officers located an adult female who had been shot in the rear courtyard of the building. She was transported by Pittsburgh EMS in critical condition to an area hospital.

The Mobile Crime Unit was called to process evidence at the scene.

Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating. The investigation is ongoing.
