UPDATE: Police Arrest Three Following Hill District Carjacking

Summary:
UPDATE: Pittsburgh Police arrested Darius Balthrop, 18, and two juveniles in connection with this incident.
Balthrop is charged with Robbery of a Motor Vehicle, Robbery, Carrying a Firearm Without a License, Terroristic Threats, and multiple counts of possession. The juveniles were placed in the custody of juvenile probation.
While carrying out the search warrant of the stolen vehicle, police recovered three handguns, an AR style pistol, ammunition, magazines, marijuana, crack cocaine, and multiple cell phones.

At 8:05 p.m., Pittsburgh Police were dispatched for reports of an armed carjacking at Crawford Street and Centre Avenue in the Hill District.
The driver was unhurt.
The vehicle fled the area and was spotted a short time later on Second Avenue before heading over the Birmingham Bridge to the South Side.
Within 30 minutes of the initial call, multiple police units pulled the vehicle over on E. Carson Street between 23rd and 24th Street.
The three male occupants were arrested without incident and positively identified by the victim.
Police are in the process of applying for a search warrant as multiple firearms were spotted in plain view inside the vehicle.
