UPDATE: Police Investigate Shooting in Allentown, Three Wounded

UPDATE: The critical patient from this incident, an adult male, succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.

Identification will come from the Medical Examiner.

Original post:

Just before 7 p.m., Pittsburgh Police responded to a 10-round ShotSpotter alert in the 700 block of E. Warrington Avenue.

Arriving units located a male victim inside 707 E.Warrington with a gunshot wound to the chest. Medics transported him in critical condition.

A second male victim was located at Dilworth Street with gunshot wounds to the hip and the nose. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The third victim, also male, was dropped out of a vehicle at Arlington and William with a gunshot wound to the arm. Medics transported him in stable condition.

The ages of the victims are not known at this time.

Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating. The investigation is ongoing.
