Just after 10:50 p.m., Pittsburgh Police were dispatched to the intersection of Lemington Avenue and Oberlin Street in the Lincoln-Lemington-Belmar neighborhood for an eleven-round ShotSpotter alert.
Arriving officers located the crime scene in the intersection and as they searched the area, they found an adult male victim on a porch a few houses down the street in the 7200 block of Lemington Avenue.
The victim sustained a single gunshot wound to his left leg. Police officers applied a tourniquet to the victim's leg until medics arrived. Pittsburgh EMS Medic 1 transported him to an area hospital in stable condition.

The Mobile Crime Unit was called to the scene to process evidence, including recovered shell casings.
Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating. The investigation is ongoing.
