Date: April 7, 2024 Incident Type: Shooting Location: Zone 3 Summary:
Pittsburgh Police from Zone 3 were dispatched just before 11:45 p.m. for a reported shooting in the 1600 block of Brownsville Road in Carrick.
Arriving responders located an adult male victim on the sidewalk with a single gunshot wound to his leg. He was alert, conscious, and speaking with officers. He was transported in stable condition to an area hospital.
A short time later, units on scene located a second adult male victim in the unit block of Thielman Avenue who had several gunshot wounds to his legs. He was also alert, conscious, and speaking with officers and was transported in stable condition to a local hospital.
The Mobile Crime Unit was called to process all evidence at the scene.
Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating.
The investigation is ongoing.
