UPDATE: Police Investigate Fatal Shooting in Larimer

Summary:

UPDATE: Fugitive Apprehension Unit and Violent Crime Unit detectives have arrested three individuals in connection with this case. 

John Kyles, 20, was arrested on April 25, Marcus Johnson, 23, was arrested on May 23, and Zion White, 21, was taken into custody on June 3, 2025. 

All three face multiple charges including Criminal Homicide, Conspiracy, Robbery, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, and Firearms Not to be Carried Without a License.

They are being held in the Allegheny County Jail.

Original incident details: 

Just before 11 p.m., a 21-year-old male with multiple gunshot wounds was taken to the hospital by private vehicle. He was pronounced deceased a short time later.

Officers located a crime scene in the 100 block of Meadow Street in Larimer following a Shot Spotter notification at 10:48 p.m. that is related to this incident.

The Crime Scene Unit processed evidence on Meadow Street and police will obtain a search warrant for the vehicle at the hospital. 

Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating.

The investigation is ongoing.
