Incident Type: Aggravated assault Location: Zone 4/6
Just before 12:30 a.m., Zone 4 officers were dispatched to the 2500 block of Wadsworth Street for a reported trespass/mischief call.
Police arrived to find the suspect gone from the area and cleared the scene after approximately 30 minutes.
Just after 1 a.m. a male called police back to the same residence after reporting he had fired multiple rounds at the individual, who had returned to the house.
A short time later, a female with a gunshot wound to the buttocks returned to her address in the 3100 block of Ashlyn Street in Sheraden. Medic 3 transported the patient to the hospital in stable condition.
Aggravated Assault and Reckless Endangerment charges are pending against the shooter.
All parties in this incident are known to each other and the investigation is ongoing.
