Just before 7:30 a.m., Pittsburgh EMS, Fire, and Police were dispatched to Banksville Road at Carnahan Road for a vehicle rollover with entrapment.
Public Safety units arrived on the scene and confirmed a female was pinned inside an overturned vehicle.
Crews from Medic 3 entered the vehicle to care for the patient and apply protective blankets while EMS Rescue 2 stabilized the vehicle and removed the windshield to allow for the patient to be extricated.
The patient was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
