Police, Marshals Arrest Man Wanted for Multiple Robberies

Summary:

In the early morning hours of January 25, 2024, Pittsburgh Police SWAT, Fugitive Apprehension Unit detectives, and the U.S. Marshals Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force executed a felony arrest warrant for a male wanted for a violent armed robbery in Westmoreland County.

Sean Jones, 19, was arrested without incident in the 5000 block of Dyke Street in Hazelwood. Three firearms, ammunition, quantities of suspected narcotics, U.S. currency, and cellphones were recovered from the residence. He faces multiple felony robbery, aggravated assault, burglary and theft charges in relation to the December 5, 2023 armed robbery in Greensburg.

Jones was also wanted for an October 22, 2023 armed robbery on the South Side of Pittsburgh and an October 18, 2023 armed robbery in Shaler.

Pennsylvania State Police transported him to Westmoreland County to face charges.
