At approximately 7:20 p.m., Pittsburgh Police and EMS responded to a residence in the 1300 block of Montezuma Street for a victim with a stab wound.
The adult male victim told arriving responders that he obtained a minor puncture wound on his hand following an incident in the 5500 block of Center Avenue.
The suspect reportedly instigated a conflict with the victim before lunging at him with an unknown object. The victim fled the scene and traveled to Montezuma Street, where he then called 911.
Pittsburgh EMS transported the victim to the hospital in stable condition.
An investigation is ongoing.
