At approximately 5:45 p.m., Pittsburgh Police, Fire, and EMS were dispatched to the 100 block of Michigan Street in the Beltzhoover neighborhood for a reported shooting incident.
Arriving responders located an adult male victim in the street with a single gunshot wound to his buttock. He was alert, conscious, and speaking with officers and medics. He was transported in stable condition to an area hospital.
Officers were able to retrieve video footage from a nearby residence. They are reviewing that footage to identify a potential person of interest.
The Mobile Crime Unit responded to process evidence at the scene.
Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating. And the investigation is ongoing.
