Pittsburgh Police, Fire, and EMS responded to the 2100 block of Mazette Place in Fairywood at approximately 7:00 a.m. for reports of a female having been shot.
A 32-year-old female was located inside of a home with a single gunshot wound to her hip.
She was transported in stable condition to a local hospital.
The Mobile Crime Unit was called to the scene to process all evidence.
Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating. The investigation is ongoing.
