Zone 2 officers were dispatched to Liberty Avenue and 25th Street at approximately 8 a.m. after reports that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle.
A Pittsburgh Regional Transit driver called in the incident saying an adult male rider got off the bus and ran across the street into traffic.
The vehicle driver stayed on scene and is cooperating with officers. Pittsburgh EMS transported the victim to an area hospital in stable condition.
