Date: January 20, 2024 Incident Type: Fire Location: Zone 3 Summary:
Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire, Police, and EMS responded to the 100 block of Pasadena Street at approximately 4:15 p.m. for a fire inside a house.
Responding units located a fully involved fire in a locked bedroom where a 71-year-old male was found deceased inside.
Medics transported another male to the hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.
He and three other tenants were displaced due to the damage and will be receiving assistance from the American Red Cross.
The Fire Investigation Unit will be investigating the cause of the fire.
