Male Injured in Domestic-Related Aggravated Assault Incident

Just before noon, Pittsburgh Police officers were dispatched to an apartment in the 2100 block of Centre Avenue for reports of a stabbing incident.

Arriving units attended to a male in his late 60s with a superficial stab wound to his leg and a more serious injury to his finger.

Medics transported him to the hospital in stable condition.
The victim told police a female friend stabbed him, but she had left the area before police arrived.

Officers are seeking a warrant for her arrest.
