Firefighter Injured Working 1-Alarm Fire in Homewood North

At approximately 7:40 p.m., the Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire responded to a 1-alarm residential structure fire in the 7300 block of Idlewild Street.
The property was vacant/abandoned.
One firefighter suffered a burn to his lower leg and Pittsburgh Bureau of EMS transported him to the hospital in stable condition.
There were no other injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Fire Investigation Unit.
