Date: January 14, 2024 Incident Type: Stabbing/Simple Assault Location: Zone 6 Summary:
Police and EMS were called to the 2700 block of Zephyr Avenue just after 10:00 p.m. for reports of a stabbing.
Officers arrived to the residence and found three adults—two females and male. All three were known to each other.
Prior to officers arriving, the females had been engaged in an argument. During the altercation, one of the females was bitten. Thinking it had been the male, she stabbed him. He sustained a single stab would to the buttocks.
The male was transported by medics in stable condition. And the bitten adult female was evaluated by medics on scene.
Charges of Simple Assault for all three individuals are forthcoming.
