UPDATE: Following a warrant for his arrest, Corey Rall, 25, turned himself in to police on December 4, 2023.
Original incident details:
Pittsburgh Police from Zone 3 responded to the 1900 block of Brownsville Road just after 1:30 a.m. for reports of a shooting.
Arriving units located a 28-year-old male victim on an outside porch with a gunshot wound to his head and shoulder. He was pronounced deceased by medics at the scene.
Witnesses described an altercation before the shooting between the victim and an adult male actor. The actor then fled the scene.
The Mobile Crime Unit arrived to process evidence at the scene.
Detectives from the Violent Crime Unit are investigating.
