At approximately 3:30 a.m., Police from Zone 2 were called to the 600 block of Smithfield Street for reports of a showcase window broken and property taken at Brooks Brothers clothing store.
The suspect fled the area.
Plainclothes detectives will be reviewing all available video footage.
The investigation is ongoing.
