Just before 8:30 a.m., Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Oberlin Street at Chadwick Playground for a reported carjacking.
The adult female victim stated she was in her vehicle when four people—three males and one female—approached her and demanded that she surrender her car.
The victim described one of the males as being dressed in all black, including a black hoodie and a full face covering. She reports the suspect said, "Get out of the car. I have a gun." However, no weapon was physically seen.
She immediately relinquished her vehicle and the suspects fled with it towards Stranahan Street.
The investigation is ongoing.
