At approximately 9:30 a.m., Pittsburgh Police from Zone 6 responded for reports of an unresponsive male found in a wooded area on Herrod Street at Bond Street.
Officers located the adult male with a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Detectives from the Crime Scene Unit processed evidence and Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating.
The investigation is ongoing.
