Date: February 7, 2023 Incident Type: Homicide Location: Zone 3 Summary:
At approximately 5:10 p.m., Pittsburgh Police from Zone 3 responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 200 block of Beltzhoover Avenue.
Arriving units located a juvenile male victim with a gunshot wound to the chest in the area of Loyal Way and Harcourt Way. Medics transported him in critical condition and he was pronounced deceased at the hospital a short time later.
There is no description of a suspect or suspects at this time.
Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating.
