Police Arrest Two Males Following Aggravated Assault at Bus Station

Summary:

At approximately 7:30 a.m., Pittsburgh Police from Zone 2 were dispatched to the unit block of 11th Street for reports of several adult males involved in an altercation.

Upon arrival, officers located a 27-year-old male victim with a stab wound/laceration to his arm and a human bite mark on his back. He was alert and conscious when speaking with officers, and was transported by Medic 6 in stable condition.

Witnesses told police the incident started on a bus when two males attacked the victim. The altercation then spilled out into the terminal.

Officers located the two male actors, 24-year-old Arick Carles and 31-year-old Janson Arsenault, outside the station. Both were arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, and Harassment.

Carles was transported to the ACJ.

Arsenault was transported to UPMC Mercy for medical clearance for a bite wound to his finger he sustained during the altercation. He was then transported to the ACJ.
